ARTcycle eNews
Greetings all ARTcycle
cognoscenti,
ARTcycle eNews for October November.

As
I write the
Surry Hills Festival (
http://surryhillsfestival.com/) is springing into
life.
The
Sydney Bicycle Film Festival (
http://www.bicyclefilmfestival.com/) currently
screening.
And
Sydney Rides
Festival (
http://sydneycycleways.net/sydney-rides-festival-2012) is
drawing to a close...
But not before ARTcycle has its yell. Tomorrow
morning, Sunday 28 October, bright and early, the
CultureCycle tour commences, lead by Angelina Russo.
Meet 8:30am Deus 344 Bourke St, Surry Hills. Booking essential - if you haven't
already sign up on the ARTcycle MeetUp website (
http://www.artcyclesydney.com/2012/10/culturecycle-rides-again.html).
The event is free, brought to you through the generosity of Sydney Rides
Festival, Sydney Cycleways and the City of Sydney.
ARTcycle is always looking at ways to provide fun
filled and info packed events. Chris, bless him, has booked the
Arcade Screen Printing Workshop (
http://arcadescreenprinting.com.au/) for Sunday, 18 November.
There is a fee as you would expect with a professionally run course in a working
screen printing business. And to keep you fuelled a veg BBQ lunch. You will
finish the day with a screen printed T of your own design. Places are limited
but we need at least ten bods to make it happen. Sign up on the
ARTcycle MeetUp website (
http://www.meetup.com/Art-Cycle-Sydney/events/77819362/). All
fee paying events in 2012/2013 are eligible for complimentary membership of
ARTcycle for this financial year.
Membership - a reminder for all those members
that membership is due. Club rules state you are still a member until you are
kicked out or resign. Don't have that niggling $20 on your conscience. We could
use it to create more fun events. If you haven't already renewed this financial
year's subscription then you can do so online - shoot us an email and we will
send you ARTcycle's BSB details for a direct deposit. Cheque cash also ok. Ask
for Craig as he is the go-to for membership subscriptions. Chris is the one
writing the receipts.
Stay 'tuned' and see you on the
street.
Gilbert
